Uasin Gishu: LGBTQ Activist Edwin Chiloba murdered, body deposited in a metallic box.

LGBTQ activist Edwin Chiloba’s body was discovered inside a metal box near the Kipkenyo-Kaptinga Road in Uasin Gishu County, and police have confirmed this.

The body of the dead was found after local boda boda drivers reported to authorities that a suspicious-looking vehicle had discarded a metallic box along the road.

Eyewitnesses reported that the vehicle’s license plates were hidden.

When the police arrived on the site, they opened the box and found Chiloba’s lifeless, decomposing body covered in women’s clothing.

Since then, Chiloba’s body has been transferred to the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital while an autopsy is conducted to determine the reason of his demise.

As Kenya’s LGBTQ community mourns the activist, police have also started investigating the terrible crime.

Chiloba suffered major facial injuries after being roughed up in public by unidentified attackers last year, but he managed to survive the attack.
