Two of the four kids who were poisoned and stabbed on Tuesday night by their father passed away while receiving medical care at Homa Bay county referral hospital.

This occurs after their father, Ronnie Ochieng’ Nyore, allegedly got into a domestic altercation with his wife and then stabbed the kids at their East Kochia Location, Homa Bay county, house. Ronnie Ochieng’ Nyore eventually committed suicide.

Three-year-old twins Odongo and Opiyo are reported to have passed away on Wednesday night after succumbing to poison toxicity that impacted their brains and other internal organs.

While his brother died while being treated in the general ward, Opiyo went away in the intensive care unit (ICU).

The mother of the children, who claims she is having financial difficulties, is now pleading with the public for assistance, saying that the family of her husband has subsequently ignored her pleas.

She added on Thursday, “I am asking on anyone who is willing to help me since I do not even know how I can clear the medical cost.”

The remaining two kids are in stable condition, according to Dr. Charles Ochola, the hospital’s ICU doctor.

The two deceased’ bodies have been brought to the hospital’s mortuary in the meantime.
