A Kabarak University nursing student was discovered dead on the road on Friday morning; the situation is being looked into by detectives.

Derrick Malumasa Sabuni, a 23-year-old third-year student, was discovered bleeding on the Nakuru-Mogotio road close to the Kampi Ya Moto commercial center, according to the police.

His university colleagues reported to the police that they had discovered him on the road, scooped him up, and hurried him to the Kabarak University medical center, where he was declared deceased.

According to authorities, the deceased suffered a severe stabbing wound to his stomach that was caused by an unknown individual using a sharp object.

Investigators believe the guy was fatally stabbed after midnight while on a robbery expedition. At the site, his possessions had vanished.

As part of their investigation into the murder, police went to the hospital and the scene.

The murder’s motivation is still a mystery.

The body was taken to the Nakuru Municipal Annex Mortuary in anticipation of a postmortem and more inquiries.

There hasn’t been an arrest yet.
