Mr Ezekiel Nkeere Gitangwa, 47, was discovered mutilated in a room intended for poultry keeping. A carpet was draped over the body.
To gain access to the body, police had to breach into the home of the Nyamaiya Health Centre nurse. However, the health worker was not present.
“We received a report from Gladys Bonareri Achoki, the teacher’s wife, that her husband was missing,” a police report stated.
The teacher was last seen at 9 a.m. on Friday, the day he went missing.

The deceased teacher’s body was taken to the Nyamira County Hospital Mortuary for a postmortem examination.
