Stacy Michuki recently beat out other contestants including Akothee’s second-born daughter Celine Dion to emerge the winner of the Miss Universe Beauty pageant.

There were those who felt that she used her political influence to gain an upper hand over other contestants as she is allegedly related to the late John Michuki.

“Some people thought you were former politician John Michuki’s granddaughter. How did those sentiments even from some critics saying you were favoured affect you?” Pulser Magazine sought to find out.

In response, Stacy disclosed that what the critics have to say is water off her back as she knows she wasn’t favoured, she earned the title.

“It didn’t affect me at all because I wasn’t favoured not even a bit. I have grown up knowing and practising that I have to work as hard as everyone else to get what I want,” she revealed.
