Returning to social media, Jennifer Lopez unveiled “This Is Me…Now”

The 20th anniversary of the release of Jennifer Lopez’s “This Is Me…Then” has been used to make an update.

Her upcoming project, “This Is Me…Now,” is said to “chronicle the emotional, spiritual, and psychological journey that she has made over the previous 20 years.”

In recent days, Lopez’s social media had vanished, sparking rumors that a major statement was about to be made.

This Is Me features confessional songs, reflections on her previous struggles, and joyful love songs with her trademark powerful vocals.

Her difficult upbringing, failed romances, and remarkable emotional journey are now in the forefront, according to a press statement cited by Rolling Stone.

On November 25, 2002, the original album “This Is Me…Then” was made available.

Lopez is seen evolving from the artist she was then to the person she is now in a video that was released on her verified social media accounts.

She dedicated “This Was Me…Then” to her then-fiancé Ben Affleck. It included “Dear Ben,” a special song about Affleck, as well as her smash hit “Jenny from the Block.”

The song “Dear Ben pt. ll” is part of the album “This Is Me…Now.”

In a recent interview with Vogue, Lopez hinted the release of a new album, describing the tracks as “a kind of bookend to This Is Me…

Then, the album she released in the heady beginnings of her romance with Affleck 20 years ago.
