After being injured in a car accident, a police constable assigned to the Yala police station in Siaya County is receiving medical attention.
According to police, the incident took place after a trailer struck a police car at Kodiaga on the Kisumu-Busia road.
“The officer was taken in need of immediate medical attention to Yala Sub-County Hospital. He was injured in both of his legs “Charles Chacha, the head of the Gem Police, said.
The officer was traveling from Yala to Ugunja to pick up colleagues who would be in charge of the current national exams.
The police car was hauled to the Yala police station.
