Opinion: Powerful CS’s Whom Might Be Retained In Ruto’s Government

Two Powerful Cabinet Secretaries That Might Be Retained In Ruto’s Government.

1. Peter Munya

Peter Gatirau Munya was born in 1969. He was the Cabinet Secretary of Kenya’s Ministry of Agriculture in Uhuru’s government. He took over the ministry on 14 January 2020, after being transferred from the Ministry of Trade and Industrialization. He also served in the same capacity in the ministry of East African Community and Northern Corridor Development.

Kenyans think that those two cabinet secretaries should be retained in the office by William Ruto who was declared a winner by both the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission Wafula Chebukati and the Supreme Court of Kenya even though they are Azimio supporters.

2. Fred Matiang’i

Fred Okengo Matiang’i is a Kenyan Cabinet Secretary. He is the current Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government in Kenya under Uhuru’s governance.

He assumed office on 8 July 2017 in an acting capacity after the sudden Demise of Gen Joseph ole Nkaissery, making him hold two cabinet positions concurrently, that is in the ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government and Education, Science and Technology.
