Nairobi: Man is charged of destroying electronics worth Ksh 53,000.

A man has been charged in court with breaking into a gaming store and smashing a sky wave TV worth Sh53,000.

Malvin Kedogo was accused of breaking section 339 of the penal code by destroying the mentioned article, which belonged to Ruth Kanyoro.

According to the charge sheet, the offense was committed by the defendant on December 13 at the Uthiru retail center in Nairobi County’s Dagoretti Subcounty.

Kedogo went to the store to ask the debtor to settle the dispute, but when he was unable to locate her, he burned the item.

Later, the incident was reported to the police, and the accused was taken into custody.

Kedogo was granted release on Sh50,000 cash bail with a Sh100,000 alternative bond after contesting the accusations in court in Kibera.

The court ordered that a hearing on the subject take place later this month.

The court further ordered that the accused be given access to all witness testimony and supporting documentation utilized by the prosecution throughout the entire trial.
