On December 29, a truck and a pickup were involved in a traffic accident along the Kenol-Murang’a Road that resulted in the immediate deaths of two people.
A pickup truck transporting milk from Murang’a town attempted to pass a matatu on its way to Kenol when the accident happened at 10 a.m. The two vehicles collided head-on.
The pick-up driver struck the approaching Lorry instead of trying to pass it.
The truck driver and his turn kid were unharmed, but the two male occupants of the pickup were killed instantly.
The motor vehicles were transported to Maragua Police Station while the deceased were brought to General Kago Morgue.
Residents requested that the government step in and designate the route after claiming that there had been an upsurge in accidents in the same location.
