Murang’a: Man Sentenced To Life Imprisonment For Defiling a Minor

A Murang’a man who molested a 9-year-old boy was given a life sentence.

The Office of the Director of Public Prosecution (ODPP) released a statement on Thursday claiming that John Chege had enticed the child to his house by promising him a pen as payment for “the service he had done for him.”

Chege took advantage of the trust placed in him by the kid, according to the Chief Magistrate, Hon. P. Maina, and showed no remorse.

The minor’s family has asked the court to impose a deterrence sentence since they are still angry about Chege’s acts.
