In a rumored love triangle that occurred in a widow’s home in Lidha village, West Kadem location, Nyatike sub county, a 23-year-old man lost his life.
The deceased, known as Polycap Ochola, was dating the 34-year-old woman, according to the area head, Mr.Clime Malongo.
He is reported to have visited the woman’s home that fateful night only to be attacked there by another man who is also thought to be dating the woman.
According to Mr. Malongo, the two guys engaged in a fight over the woman that drew the attention of nearby residents, who joined the dispute.
He asserted that a furious mob murdered Polycarp Ochola, the widow’s boyfriend, by beating him to death.
During this time, three homes near the widow’s house were set on fire by the deceased’s family as revenge.
Two people who were allegedly engaged in the young man’s death had been detained, according to the area chief.
The incident, according to the chied, has strained relations between the widow’s family and the family of the deceased.
He pleaded with the populace to give the police some time to look into the situation prior taking the necessary legal steps.
