Martha Karua, the leader of the Narc-Kenya party, now demands that the electoral servers of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) be opened in order to reveal the validity of the August 2022 results.
The deputy presidential candidate for 2022, Azimio la Umoja, urged on social media on Sunday that the servers be made public and that Kenyans have a right to know what was on them.
Karua stated that it is time for the truth to come to light and for citizens to be freed from “electoral deceit.”
“The records are kept on our behalf by IEBC, the duty bearer. The records are our property, and EVERY office acts in our best interests. Therefore, no matter where you are or who you are, pay attention to what the Constitution commands, and expose the servers! “She tweeted something.
“The truth will never be lost, forgotten, or buried; it will always come to light! Time has come.”
Karua’s comments follow the announcement by Jubilee Party Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni that the party is in possession of a dossier made public by a purported IEBC whistleblower that asserts Raila Odinga defeated President William Ruto in the August 2022 election.
A portion of the report, according to Kioni, a member of the Azimio la Umoja alliance, said that Raila received 8,170,355 more votes than Ruto, who purportedly received 5,919,973 votes.
