The three were discovered to be in possession of a variety of items. weapons, including two AK-47 rifles, nine rounds of ammunition, nine arrows, and a jungle police uniform.

Ayub Ali, the Commander of the Uasin Gishu County Police, stated on Friday that the arrest was made as a result of intelligence reports from investigative agencies in collaboration with members of the public.

Ali speculated that the three were part of a car theft ring because fake license plates and log books were discovered in their home.
