Police in Emuhaya, Vihiga County, are looking into a case where a 50-year-old man was discovered dead in his own home, beheaded.
Chuk Masau, the deputy county commissioner for Emuhaya, claims that Ebusiekwe Emukolla’s body was found after his coworkers reported that he had failed to arrive for work.
Masua told Citizen Digital that when the deceased person’s brother went to find out why his brother hadn’t woken up, he discovered that his brother had been murdered.
Masau emphasized that police have not yet located Emukolla’s head and urged locals who may have knowledge about the strange killing to contact the appropriate authorities.
“The murders of Esilaba could be people on a revenge mission or inspired by forces of evil but these are merely theories for investigations are continuing to discover the exact cause of this tragic killing.
Since then, the body of the deceased has been transported to the coptic hospital mortuary in Maseno for storage.
