Man accused of forging his wife’s signature on a case withdrawal letter.

A man was charged in court on Monday for allegedly plotting to thwart justice by faking the signature of his estranged wife.

Daniel Mutisya, who was expelled from the police force, entered a not guilty plea to conspiring to fake Josephine Mutindi Kothu’s signature on a case withdrawal letter that was used as evidence in court.

According to the prosecution, he together with other defendants committed the crime on January 10, 2019, at the Dandora Police Station.

He was accused of falsifying a withdrawal letter and presenting it to the Milimani Children’s Court as authentic while having his wife Josephine sign it.

He pleaded a not guilty plea and was freed after posting a Ksh. 100,000 cash bail.
