After a lawyer attacked a businessman in a child support case on Wednesday, there was drama in Milimani Law Court’s family division.
Video released by Citizen Digital depicts the parties conversing in the courtroom hallways before the attorney punched the respondent.
The divorced wife is being defended by the attorney.
The parties had gathered to court to hear a matter where the woman was asking the man for Ksh. 600,000 in child support.
The lady claims that while they were legally married for almost 20 years and separated in January 2021, according to court documents.
The courtroom was closed to the journalists throughout the proceedings.
