
Following a vehicular accident in Keroka, Kisii County, two people perished.
According to Fred Ogada, the head of the local traffic police, the event occurred when the driver of a lorry transporting cooking oil lost control of the vehicle.
The motorbike was hit by the truck after that near the Kisii-Keroka route in the Mabuko area, according to Ogada.
The pillion passenger on the boda boda and the rider were taken to the hospital, where they later passed away from their injuries.
Police have advised drivers using the route to drive carefully. The two people’s bodies have been transferred to the mortuary at the Keroka Sub County Hospital.
