Two suspects in robberies with violence who were detained on Thursday night in Nairobi’s Embakasi East Constituency are being held by police in Kayole.
The two, Festus Owiti, 30, and Michael Otieno, 28, were apprehended by detectives located at DCI Kayole.
The two were detained after a woman was robbed, according to a statement released by the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) on Friday.
According to reports, the woman misplaced a phone and other items.
Following that, the detectives carried out an operation that resulted in the recovery of over 50 mobile phones that were thought to have been stolen from Obama Estate.
Since then, the DCI has discovered that one of the suspects runs a mobile repair business at Kayole’s Estate.
