In Kirinyaga County, police are investigating an incident in which a 23-year-old male was allegedly slain by two sisters in a suspected love triangle.
The event occurred in Mugamba village, Mwea East, and involved a scuffle in a local pub.
According to Area Police Commander Daniel Kitavi, the deceased, Boniface Wambugu, was attacked by one Louise Wangerwe, who was accompanied by two others.
“A beer bottle was thrown at the late Wambugu. “He died on the spot after suffering major neck injuries,” Kitavi said.
