Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has threatened to name and shame corrupt leaders if they continue tarnishing his name and tainting the image of the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition party.

Speaking in Kathiani, Machakos County, on Tuesday, Kalonzo called out political leaders in the rival camp against what he termed as politics of insults and name-calling.

“Wale wengine wakiendelea kunitusi, I will tell the country who they are. That is a warning shot, you know that I don’t lie…I will expose them for who they are,” he said.

He chided Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua who ditched Azimio for the Deputy President William Ruto-led Kenya Kwanza camp, accusing him of tainting his name in a bad light.

“Mutua went and said that Kalonzo goes to Raila camp, he will go alone,” Kalonzo noted.

At the same time, Kalonzo drummed up support for Azimio presidential flagbearer Raila Odinga and his running mate Martha Karua ahead of the August polls saying they have the best interests of the country at heart.

He underscored the importance of women leadership in shaping the country’s politics as he called upon the Machakos electorate to embrace the three top women leaders seeking various posts in the county.

“Wacha tujaribu kina mama…We have strong women leaders who do not require affirmative action; Wavinya, Kasimbi and Kavindu,” Kalonzo said.

“I want to assure you that if you vote for Karua, you have voted for Kalonzo.”

The former vice president was accompanied by Machakos Senator Agnes Kavindu, MPs Patrick Makau (Mavoko), Robert Mbui (Kathiani), Woman Rep Joyce Kamene Kasimbi, and gubernatorial aspirant Wavinya Ndeti, among others.
