He Finally Called: Details of Ruto-Uhuru Phone Conversation Revealed

President-elect William Ruto is just days away from his official inauguration as Kenya’s 5th President. The swearing in ceremony will take place at the Moi International Stadium famously known as Kasarani stadium on Tuesday, 13th September 2022.

Ruto will be succeeding his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta. However, questions linger whether the outgoing president will be present at the ceremony due to their indifferences for the past 4 years while serving under the presidency.

When the Supreme court upheld Ruto’s win, he revealed to the public that they had not spoken for a very long time with Uhuru but he will give him a call to discuss the transition plans.

This morning, Wednesday, September 7, 2022 Ruto has finally revealed that he had a phone call with the incumbent president where the two spoke on several issues.

Among the issues discussed include the just concluded General election and the transition as envisages by Kenya’s democratic tradition and practice.
