Form 2 Students Arrested in Connection With Nakuru Businessman’s Murder

Two Form 2 students and a local have been arrested by police in Eldama Ravine, Baringo County, for the murder of a 24-year-old businessman last week.

According to Koibatek police chief Joseph Ongaya, the businessman’s body was thrown into FTC Dam last Thursday.

One of the students was arrested by locals on Monday night while fleeing Nakuru in a matatu and is being held at Central Police Station.

Mr Ongaya stated that the deceased was with a friend who was rendered unconscious during the 11 p.m. attack at the deceased’s business premises in Nakuru town.

The police chief stated that the investigation team is closing in on the culprits and thanked the locals for providing information that led to the arrest of the three.
