FAKE: Reports And Photos Claiming That Kalonzo Is Outside The Country.

The Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka is not abroad, despite images that have been making the rounds on social media sites.

The Wiper leader is photographed with Makueni Governor Mutula Kilonzo in one of the images cited by those who assert that Kalonzo is abroad.

The aforementioned photo (attached below) was taken in 2017 during Kalonzo’s visit to Germany, according to a spot check.

On November 30, 2017, the Wiper leader posted the images to his Facebook page and thanked Mutula for visiting him.

The images below, uploaded by the Wiper leader on May 10, 2022, is another image that has been circulating online with reports that Kalonzo is out of the country.

In the picture, Kenyan Ambassador Samuel Nandwa and South Sudanese Foreign Minister Deng Dau Melik were welcoming Kalonzo to Juba ahead of negotiations in a peace process.

We can confirm that Kalonzo is in Kenya and will be attending a church service at the Unshakeable Faith Church, aside from the fake photos that were utilized.

According to rumors, Kalonzo is currently abroad and won’t be attending the rallies on Monday that the Azimio la Umoja group is planning.

Kenyans were alerted to a bogus poster on Saturday by Paloma Gatabaki, the communications coordinator for the Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka (SKM) command center, who claimed that Kalonzo had disassociated himself from the Monday protests.
