Dec. 27 and Jan. 2 declared public holidays by the government.

The government has proclaimed public holidays for Monday, January 2 and Tuesday, December 27.

Kenyans will have a four-day Christmas weekend thanks to the two days being marked as public holidays, according to Ministry of Interior Kithure Kindiki’s confirmation to local press on Thursday.

Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, and Boxing Day are all on Sundays this year. Boxing Day is on a Monday.
