The Azimio la Umoja coalition’s senators have denied media allegations that the alliance is divided, as certain media sites have said.
On Monday, Narok Senator Ledama Olekina confirmed that the coalition is still powerful. She spoke at the parliament buildings.

Olekina, the team’s head, asserted that they met with Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka, and Uhuru Kenyatta on Monday morning and gave them assurances that there are no disagreements among the coalition’s leaders in regards to Azimio in the Senate.

Other Azimio figures, such as Senate Minority Leader Stewart Madzayo, Fatuma Dhulloh, and Enock Wambua, further stated that the alliance will remain intact and that the claims being made were untrue.

“We have spoken with our leaders and among ourselves, and we are unified; there are no differences at all, and nothing should be cause for concern. This morning, we met Kalonzo Musyoka, Uhuru, and Raila. Azimoo will only be discussed by one senator in the Senate; nobody else will “Madzayo claimed.

However, this is set against the backdrop of some Jubilee MPs threatening to quit the alliance after Fatuma Dullo’s name was crossed off the list of individuals permitted to serve on the Parliamentary Service Commission (PSC).
