The Joseph Ojode Obambo, Henry Mutai, Bashir Ali and Charles Kirimi were arraigned on Tuesday and charged with one count of murder.
The four police officers are alleged that on March 24, 2020 at Kayole Junction area within Nairobi County jointly killed Wycliffe Owuor.
Owuor was out on a bond of Ksh.500,000 bond following his arrest and subsequent arraignment over the robbery incident where he was accused of leading a team of criminals that stole Ksh.72 million from a Standard Chartered Bank ATM in Nairobi
The officers pleaded not guilty and were remanded at Nairobi Remand Home.
The four have applied to be released on bond pending hearing and determination of their case.
It is their argument that if released on bond they will not abscond court.
The matter will be heard on the 17th and 18th of August this year with the mention set for June 21.
