Paul Gicheru, a Kenyan lawyer accused of bribing witnesses testifying at the International Criminal Court (ICC), has died.
Gicheru died on Monday night at his home in Karen, Nairobi, according to family members and the police.
Police have since arrived at his residence, pending the release of an official statement on the lawyer’s death.
The cause of his death is unknown.
In the failed International Criminal Court (ICC) case against President William Ruto, lawyer Gicheru was accused of bribing and intimidating witnesses.
