‘I’m Going Back Home!’ Miguna Miguna.

Miguna Miguna, a lawyer, has officially announced that he will return to Kenya next month after nearly five years in exile.

Miguna announced on Thursday night on social media that he will leave Toronto, Canada, where he has lived for the past five years, on October 24, 2022.

The outspoken advocate also stated that he will arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on the night of Tuesday, October 25, 2022.

“Itinerary for the Homecoming. I’m returning home after nearly 5 years of forced barbaric exile. Departure date from Toronto: October 24, 2022. Arrival at JKIA, Nairobi: October 25, 2022, 8:20 p.m. See you later, everyone “Miguna posted on Twitter.

The announcement comes two days after he finally received a new passport, praising President William Ruto for allegedly intervening.

Miguna was deported to Canada in 2018 after taking part in the mock swearing-in of opposition leader Raila Odinga as the ‘People’s President’ at Uhuru Park.
