Seven people among them five children and two adults have been killed in a suspected bandit attack in Napeitom village in Turkana County.
Turkana East Sub-county commander Solomon Kosgey said the bandits attacked the village on Sunday night killing the victims and razing down 101 houses
Two people sustained burn injuries and are admitted at Lokori Sub-county Hospital.
A contingent of police officers has been sent to pursue the arsonists who have since escaped in Suguta Valley.
Residents of Napeitom are currently living in fear and humanitarian organisations have requested to take food, water and medication to the area.
