According to the National Police Service (NPS), security officers raided the Ucekeine Mundoro area in the morning where the drug was found stashed in bags and packets. The suspect, however, managed to escape.

“The National Police Service remains focussed in the war against drug and substance abuse and urges the public to support the gains through sensitization campaigns and sharing of prompt information,” NPS stated.
