Nairobi: 2 People Found Dead Inside A Stolen Car

Two people were on Thursday found dead and their bodies stuffed in a vehicle that was allegedly stolen on Saturday last week in Lucky Summer, Nairobi County.

According to a police report, the owner of the said vehicle, Jeremiah Malaba Nasikungu, had availed himself at Lucky Summer Police Station on Wednesday to follow up on an initial report he filed on May 22, 2022 pertaining to the theft.

Nasikungu claimed the vehicle was stolen from where he had parked it on the night of May 21, 2022.

While at the police station, Nasikungu supposedly received a phone call from one of his acquaintances, Fanwel Toka, who claimed to have spotted his vehicle abandoned near Gathecha area.

“Nasikungu immediately rushed to the scene in the company of police officers and on arrival at the scene identified the vehicle to be his although the front and rear number plates had been removed,” read a police report seen by Citizen Digital. 

After peeking through the car’s windows, police discovered the two corpses which are said to have been full of blisters.

The crime scene has since been visited by police and is currently being processed by Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) forensic experts.

The bodies of the deceased have since been moved to City mortuary pending identification and postmortem.
