Baringo: Two Arrested Over Mysterious Death Of Two Children

Police are holding two suspects over the mysterious deaths of two children in Baringo County.

Bodies of the two children, aged 4 and 7, were found floating at Chemosus Dam in Eldama Ravine Sub County.

Poror area assistant chief Jackline Kiprop told Citizen Digital that the children went missing on Monday.

“A search operation was launched immediately in a bid to locate the two children. Unfortunately, the children were found dead,” Kiprop said.

Further reports indicate that the children’s father, Jonah Kesses, had separated with their mother and was at the time living with his second wife.

“The father requested that he spends the holiday with his two children. They left their mother’s home to spend the school break with their father and step-mother,” the local administrator said.

Two suspects, the children’s step-mother and their uncle, are being grilled by police over the incident.
