Six people were on Tuesday killed in a road accident after a bus collided with a saloon car at Molomu area on the Thika-Mwingi highway.
Police reports indicate that the bus was ferrying an unknown number of passenger while the car had five people on board.
The bus is said to have collided head-on with the oncoming car between Kanyonyoo and Kivandini markets in Mwingi.
Among the six since confirmed dead, all of whom were men, four were in the saloon car while two were in the bus.
The bodies of the deceased have since been transferred to the Matuu level four hospital mortuary.
This comes three days after 11 people succumbed to a similar accident while on their way to a ruracio after a 14-seater matatu they were travelling in veered off the road and rolled in the same area.
